April NWCA Meeting
The April NWCA Meeting will take place on Zoom from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on April 1st.
Guest: Staff from ZoneIN will update us on Phase 2 and opportunities for you to comment on their plans. The already approved part of Phase 2 covered only land use. They are now moving on to other aspects of zoning such as green space, lighting, building setbacks, and other aspects of the built environment.
Zoning hearings:
559 Knightsbridge (Z26-003): Applicant is seeking to modify the zoning text and site plan of the existing Commercial Planned Development (CPD) District to incorporate the adjacent parcel upon which an office building currently sits. The existing building will be demolished and courts added. At this time the parcels (010-016606 & 010-018-18234) are not being combined but the proposed CPD will apply to both.
6175 Sawmill Rd (BZA26-012): Applicant is seeking to add a drive-thru-only coffee shop on a parcel that has recently been rezoned Commercial Activity Center District. In order to do so they are requesting variances from the frontage type, façade zone, and façade transparency requirements, and to eliminate the requirement for a public entrance.
